Job summary

Savify AG is seeking a skilled ML Engineer to develop models predicting savings opportunities from spend data. You will classify accounts-payable data, benchmark prices, and forecast savings to prioritise supplier engagements. The role emphasizes feature engineering, model training, monitoring, and actionable guidance for negotiators.

Flexible hours with remote-first work in Europe, full-time, permanent. Start by agreement, no later than Q1 2027. Travel <10%.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of production ML for classification and regression.
• Proficiency with Python, scikit-learn/XGBoost, SQL and MLOps fundamentals.
• Experience with unstructured, imperfect business data.
• Fluent German or English.

Your responsibilities

• Classify accounts-payable and invoice data into procurement categories

Your profile

• Spend analytics and procurement data, UNSPSC/eCl@ss, text embeddings and pricing models.

Responsibility and collaboration

• Professional/Senior; no line-management responsibility; reports to Head of AI.

Your goals for the first six months

• Automated spend classification with at least 85% accuracy and a first benchmark model live for three categories.
