VAT Group, a world-leading vacuum solutions company, seeks an experienced Logistics Leader to oversee daily operations in Switzerland and drive efficiency. You will lead a high-performing team, manage SOPs, and optimize KPIs across material, inventory, and service delivery.

Collaborating with Procurement, Quality, and Production, you will ensure compliance and safety while advancing continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifikationen

• Degree or professional qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Logistics certification (e.g., Logistics Specialist) is highly desirable.
• Experience with logistics automation (ASRS, conveyors, AGVs/AMRs, warehouse automation) or digital transformation.
• Proven leadership experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain operations.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management and ERP systems; Dynamics 365 F&O preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills and KPI reporting experience.
• Professional proficiency in German and English.
• Strong leadership presence and communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Provide functional and disciplinary leadership to Team Leaders within the assigned logistics area.
• Lead workforce planning activities, including staffing and resource allocation within budget targets.
• Set performance objectives, provide regular feedback, and conduct evaluations.
• Foster a high-performance culture through coaching and talent development.
• Develop, maintain, and update SOPs and process documentation.
• Manage daily logistics operations for timely execution and service quality.
• Monitor KPIs related to productivity, quality, and delivery performance.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Supply Chain, Quality and Production to resolve issues.
