Candidates hold an engineering degree (PhD or MSc) in materials science, physics or chemistry, with at least five years of international R&D experience and a proven record in high‑tech environments; travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 5 years professional experience in international environment.
• Experience managing complex multidisciplinary projects.
• Strong English and German language capabilities.

Aufgaben

• Lead technology exploration and development projects with focus on innovation and improvement in Materials and Manufacturing Technologies
• Manage the Materials and Manufacturing Technologies project portfolio in collaboration with the dedicated Team Leaders
• Interdisciplinary teamwork with scientists, IP, product management, external partners and procurement etc.
• Ensure development is based on future application and system functions needed
• Close coordination with account management, product management and field application engineering to evaluate and understand customer application and needs
• Presentation of project progress in the frame of VAT innovation boards based on degree of innovation, project content, project costs and project timeline
• Close collaboration with colleagues from e.g. VAT particle testing, lab technicians, simulation team as well as engineering
• Further development of internal project management processes, methodologies and systems
