Job summary

Nestlé Research in Vers-chez-les-Blanc, Switzerland is seeking an Associate Specialist Lipids to advance lipid science for food applications. You will lead projects, design lab studies on crystallisation, structuring and oxidation, and translate findings into real product benefits for people, pets, and the planet.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contribute to IP and publications, and mentor students and technicians while communicating results to technical and business audiences.

Qualifications

• PhD in Food Science/Chemistry, Food Engineering, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of lipid science, including crystallisation, structuring and oxidation.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving to transform science into value.
• Excellent project management, organisation and communication skills.
• Collaborative, proactive with initiative and integrity.
• Fluent in English; other languages are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Build scientific knowledge of lipid science and emerging methods.
• Develop robust concepts translating lipid research into food applications.
• Lead research projects and communicate results to technical and business audiences.
• Design and execute lab studies on lipid crystallisation, structuring and oxidation.
• Transfer knowledge to development teams to accelerate innovation.
• Strengthen scientific visibility through IP, publications, conferences and coaching.
