Job summary

Mace is seeking an experienced cost manager to join our life sciences and pharmaceuticals team in Switzerland. You will help develop cost plans, procurement strategies and commercial management processes for complex facilities across Europe and globally.

Ideal candidates have cost management experience in life sciences, exposure to CL1-CL4 laboratories, and strong skills in value engineering, lifecycle costing and project controls. Hybrid work options available.

Qualifications

• Experience as cost manager or quantity surveyor in life sciences, pharma, biotech, healthcare or advanced manufacturing sectors.
• Experience supporting projects with CL1-CL4 laboratory environments and containment considerations.
• Strong cost planning, estimating, procurement and commercial management skills.
• Experience on technically complex or highly serviced building projects.
• Knowledge of GMP, regulated environments and life sciences project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver cost plans, procurement strategies and commercial management processes.
• Support project controls and cost reporting to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Collaborate in integrated project teams across Europe and globally.
• Provide guidance on lifecycle costing and value engineering for complex facilities.
