Andermatt Swiss Alps AG is seeking a Legal Counsel to advise on Swiss contract law and to help drive the digitalisation of our contract processes. The role collaborates closely with various departments, with a strong emphasis on the Hospitality Business Unit.

You will draft, review and negotiate contracts, conduct targeted legal research, and contribute to implementing a new contract management tool. Excellent German and strong English are required.

Qualifications

• Master of Law (MLaw) from a Swiss university.
• Several years of in-house Swiss legal department experience; hospitality sector experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Swiss contract law and solution-oriented mindset.
• Excellent written and spoken German and good English (C1).

• Advise on legal matters across various business areas and develop practical solutions in close collaboration with the relevant departments, with a particular focus on the Business Unit Hospitality
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts, ensuring legally sound and solution-oriented outcomes throughout the entire contract lifecycle
• Conduct legal research and assessments and translate your findings into practical recommendations
• Actively contribute to the implementation of a new digital contract management tool and drive the digitalisation of our legal processes
• Review existing workflows, further develop contract templates and identify opportunities for standardisation and increased efficiency
• Contribute to cross-functional projects and support the Legal Team in its diverse day-to-day activities

What you bring in

• A Master of Law (MLaw) degree from a Swiss university
• Several years of professional experience in a Swiss in-house legal department; experience in the hospitality sector is an advantage
• Sound knowledge of Swiss contract law and a strong interest in addressing legal matters in a solution-oriented manner
• Strong analytical and structured working skills, combined with a good sense for practical solutions
• A service-oriented mindset and the ability to balance legal requirements with business needs
• An interest in Legal Tech, digitalisation and innovative approaches to process optimisation
• A high degree of flexibility, initiative and team spirit, as well as a genuine enjoyment of working with different business departments
• Excellent written and spoken German and good English skills (minimum C1 level in English)
• Willingness to work on-site in Altdorf or Andermatt depending on business requirements; otherwise, the opportunity to work from home is available
