Job summary

Jobgether SRL is seeking a Lead Software Engineer (Editor) based in Switzerland to drive the AI-enabled ecommerce conversion editor. You will lead a team while continuing to write code, shaping the editor's AI capabilities from content generation to personalization, and ensuring production health.

You will partner with Product to define meaningful roadmap opportunities, maintain high engineering standards, and serve as the primary escalation point for incidents.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 1–2 years in a technical lead capacity with ownership of technical direction for a team.
• Experience building consumer-facing web products at scale.
• Proven experience shipping AI-powered product features.
• Experience working with Product Managers on roadmap development and strategy.
• Strong TypeScript/Node.js and PHP/Laravel in an existing-system transition.
• Familiar with MariaDB, Redis, AWS services, Docker, and CI/CD practices.
• Hands-on AI coding tools daily with productive AI-assisted workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical direction of the editor and AI-powered capabilities.
• Lead sprint planning, task breakdown, prioritization, and blockers.
• Mentor and develop engineers and establish AI-assisted practices.
• Ensure code quality, reviews, testing, and production reliability.
• Own incident response and production health for the editor.
• Collaborate with Product to define roadmap priorities and opportunities.
