Zusammenfassung

V-ZUG AG in Zug is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP professional to lead development and governance of SAP applications. You will work with ABAP OO, RAP, CDS views and BAPIs/BADIs, ensuring clean code and strong integration across S/4HANA, Fiori, and SAP BTP.

You will guide internal and external experts, participate in SAFe-aligned initiatives, and help shape the SAP roadmap while supporting the SAP landscape, including SAP HANA and R/3. A hybrid work model with partial remote work is offered.

Qualifikationen

• You hold a degree in Computer Science or Business Informatics or an equivalent qualification.
• Extensive experience with SAP and ABAP, particularly ABAP OO, RAP, CDS views and BAPIs/BADIs/enhancement frameworks.
• Clear understanding of SAP architecture (S/4HANA, Fiori, SAP BTP) and integrations via RFC/IDoc/SOAP/OData/APIs.
• Demonstrated technical leadership to manage complex issues and guide teams.
• Independent work style with a focus on clean code and best practices.
• Experience with SAFe or other agile methodologies is a plus; openness to AI-based approaches is welcome.

• Focus on development and enhancement of SAP applications (ABAP, ABAP OO, interfaces, forms, Fiori/UI5, OData services, CDS views, enhancements, upgrades, authorisations) aligned with SAFe priorities.
• As technical leader, manage and coordinate internal/external experts, ensure governance and code reviews, and plan resources.
• Proficient with Eclipse IDE, VS Code or Business Application Studio and ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model.
• Implement sustainable changes to SAP systems and provide second/third level support for SAP HANA and R/3 environments.
• Help define and develop the SAP roadmap, focusing on clean core, technology trends, and integration via SAP BTP and Azure Integration Services.

You will work 80-100% of the time in Zug and partly remotely

What this position offers you

• The focus is on the development and enhancement of SAP applications (ABAP, ABAP OO, interfaces, forms, Fiori/UI5, OData services, CDS views, enhancements, upgrades, authorisations and so on) in line with SAFe priorities
• As a technical leader, you will manage and coordinate both internal and external experts, ensure that developer guidelines and governance are adhered to, oversee code reviews and guarantee efficient resource planning
• You are proficient in using modern development platforms such as Eclipse IDE, VS Code or Business Application Studio and work with the latest technologies such as the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model
• Together with the team, you will implement sustainable changes to the SAP system, provide second and third level support for our entire SAP environment (SAP HANA and R/3 systems), and ensure the stable operation of the systems
• You will help define and further develop the SAP roadmap, particularly with regard to clean core, technology trends and the integration platform based on SAP BTP and Azure Integration Services. In close cooperation with the ICT Enterprise Architecture organisation, you will contribute to building a stable and future-proof system landscape

What you can bring to this position

• You hold a degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or an equivalent qualification
• You have extensive experience with SAP and ABAP, particularly with ABAP OO, RAP, CDS views as well as BAPIs, BADIs and enhancement frameworks
• You have a clear understanding of SAP architecture (S/4HANA, Fiori, SAP BTP) and experience with integrations via RFC, IDoc, SOAP, OData or APIs
• Thanks to your experience in technical leadership, you can manage complex technical issues, consult the business and delegate tasks effectively and strengthen the team's skills
• You work independent with high quality; clean code principles and best practices are well known to you
• Experience with SAFe or other agile methodologies is an advantage, as well as your willingness to actively put new technologies - such as AI-based approaches - into practice
