Symlab AG, based at Technopark Zurich, seeks a Jamming Product Line Architect to lead the technical direction of its jamming systems portfolio. You’ll drive the long‑term technical roadmap and represent solution credibility to customers and stakeholders.

You will partner with Product Management and Sales, translating market needs into robust architectures, APIs, and scalable interfaces, with a strong emphasis on embedded Linux and RF systems. Proactive customer engagement is key.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in jamming‑related systems, embedded systems, and system architecture, ideally in Linux environments.
• Experience in RF systems, wireless communication, or signal‑processing applications.
• Strong background in System‑on‑Chip (SoC) platforms and embedded software development.
• Proven experience defining and managing complex system architectures and technical roadmaps.
• Experience designing and integrating APIs and distributed system components.
• Strong understanding of software‑hardware integration and system‑level design.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with customer‑facing experience.
• Ability to translate complex technical topics into clear, strategic direction.
• Fluent English (mandatory); German is a strong advantage

Aufgaben

• Define and own the technical vision and roadmap for the jamming product line.
• Act as the technical lead and subject matter expert for customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Translate market and customer requirements into system architectures and technical solutions.
• Drive innovation initiatives and evaluate emerging technologies relevant to embedded, Linux‑based, and RF systems.
• Work closely with Product Management to align business strategy with technical execution.
• Ensure architectural consistency across products, including APIs, SoC‑based platforms, and system interfaces.
• Oversee the design of user‑facing components, including web‑based GUIs.
• Support bid activities, technical proposals, and high‑level solution design.
• Ensure scalability, performance, and maintainability of the overall system architecture.
