Symlab AG in Zürich, located at Technopark Zürich, is seeking an Embedded Test Engineer to ensure quality and reliability of embedded jamming systems running on Linux-based platforms. Ideal candidates have a degree in CS or EE, proven experience in embedded testing, strong Linux knowledge, and fluency in English (German an advantage).

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Embedded Test Engineer to join our team at Technopark Zurich. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of embedded Jamming systems in a Linux-based environment, supporting advanced wireless and signal‑processing applications.

You will work closely with development teams to design and execute comprehensive test strategies for embedded systems running on modern System‑on‑Chip (SoC) platforms, with a strong focus on system integration, APIs, and user‑facing interfaces such as web‑based GUIs.

Your Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain test strategies and test plans for embedded Linux systems (HW/FW/SW)
• Develop and execute automated and manual test cases at unit, integration, and system levels (HW/FW/SW)

Your Profile

• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
• Experience in wireless communication or signal‑processing systems
