Symlab AG in Zürich, Switzerland, seeks an Embedded Software Development Engineer to design and develop embedded software for Linux-based systems, across SoC platforms, with APIs and GUI web interfaces.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in embedded software development.
• Strong programming skills in C/C++ (additional languages are a plus).
• Solid experience with Linux (kernel and/or user space).
• Experience working with SoC architectures and low‑level hardware interfaces.
• Experience designing and implementing APIs.
• Familiarity with network protocols and embedded communication interfaces.
• Experience with web technologies (e.g., REST APIs, HTML/CSS/JavaScript) for GUI development.
• Fluent English (mandatory); German is a strong advantage.

We are seeking a highly skilled Embedded Software Development Engineer to join our team at Technopark Zurich. In this role, you will design and develop advanced embedded software solutions in a Linux‑based environment, working on cutting‑edge wireless and signal‑processing systems for Jamming Systems. You will play a key role in developing robust, high‑performance embedded applications running on modern System‑on‑Chip (SoC) platforms, contributing across the full software lifecycle—from architecture and implementation to testing and deployment.

Your Responsibilities
