Eurofins Scientific is expanding its Swiss GMP-regulated QC laboratory and seeks a QC Microbiology Scientist to drive the implementation of new microbiological analytical methods and equipment. The role focuses on utility qualification testing, method validation, and staff training within a fast-growing practice in Switzerland.

You will manage project timelines, coordinate with QA and suppliers, and ensure GMP-compliant execution across customer projects and internal deviations analyses.

Qualifications

• Completed studies in life sciences (pharmacy, biochemistry, biology, ideally microbiology).
• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in a regulated environment (ISO 17025, GLP, ideally GMP).
• Experience in pharmaceutical quality control in microbiology, MALDI-TOF, clean water analysis and gas testing.
• IT and Office applications familiarity; ideally experience with LIMS systems.

Responsabilités

• Lead projects implementing new analytical methods and equipment in the microbiological lab.
• Coordinate with QA, customer service and external suppliers.
• Ensure GMP compliance and timely delivery of results and reports.
• Train and mentor laboratory staff and review qualification and validation documents.
• Oversee customer projects, map and configure them in the LIMS system.
