inMy Jet in Basel, Switzerland, seeks a Mechanical Engineer to deliver tailored mechanical solutions for VIP aviation projects across Maintenance, Completion, and Governmental programs. You will help transform customer requirements into certifiable, manufacturable designs.

You will create 3D models and 2D drawings, coordinate with suppliers, and support tests and certification activities in a fast-moving, international environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in VIP Engineering mechanical domains.
• Experience in leadership or project coordination responsibilities.
• Strong proficiency with CAE and CAD tools.
• Fluent in English; German and/or French is an asset.

Responsabilités

• Support project delivery with technical ownership from quotation to delivery.
• Collect technical data, clarify scope and assumptions, and support quotation activities.
• Perform aircraft surveys including pictures, dimensions, and 3D scans.
• Develop mechanical design principles for system architecture for ATA 21, 35, and 38 during upfront phase.
• Create and maintain 3D models and 2D drawings for mechanical parts, assemblies, and installations.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure robust, compliant, and manufacturable solutions.
• Identify risks, escalate roadblocks, and address gaps between performed work and project scope.
• Participate in tests and contribute to certification and compliance documentation.
