Job summary

Jet Aviation Basel is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to drive design and delivery of tailored mechanical solutions for VIP completions and large refurbishments. You will contribute to ATA 21/35/38 system architectures, develop robust 3D models and drawings, and coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure quality and manufacturability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 5 years of VIP engineering experience in mechanical domains.
• Proven ability to lead or coordinate project activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide mechanical engineering ownership across Maintenance, Completion, and Governmental projects.
• Collect technical data, clarify scope, and support quotation activities.
• Create and maintain 3D models and 2D drawings for mechanical parts and assemblies.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure compliant, manufacturable solutions.
• Support validation, tests, reports, and certification documentation.
