Zusammenfassung

CERN is modernising its Geodetic Metrology data system by migrating legacy Oracle APEX/PL/SQL apps to a Java/Spring Boot and Angular platform, while redesigning a mission-critical application for CERN's Accelerator Complex.

You will analyse Oracle APEX pages and PL/SQL, implement REST APIs with Spring Boot and a responsive Angular frontend, write automated tests, and participate in the full agile lifecycle, collaborating with IT and end-users to deliver reliable, scalable software.

• Proven experience designing and developing software.

Aufgaben

• Analyse Oracle APEX pages, processes and PL/SQL packages to understand business workflows and data dependencies.
• Implement Spring Boot REST APIs and Angular Frontend.
• Write automated tests and apply software quality practices.
• Participate in the whole software development lifecycle (requirements, design, development, testing), following a modern agile approach to ensure high-quality outcomes.
• Interact with the end-users of the services to understand their needs and help translate those into appropriate software solutions.
• Build strong partnerships with IT and multidisciplinary teams across CERN to ensure the delivery of reliable, maintainable, and scalable software solutions aligned with current needs and future strategic goals.
