EPAM Systems, Inc. is seeking a Lead Forward-Deployed Engineer (Data platform) in the Zurich area for a hybrid role. You will drive a large‑scale data platform engagement, collaborating with Data Architects, BI Engineers and analysts while embedding AI tooling.

Responsibilities include prototyping platform capabilities, validating with users, and delivering scalable, secure data solutions on Snowflake, ClickHouse, dbt and Fivetran within an AWS data stack.

Qualifikationen

• 6+ years of professional experience with 2+ years in platform engineering or forward‑deployed solution roles.
• Hands‑on expertise in Snowflake and ClickHouse and strong SQL skills.
• Proficient with dbt and Fivetran in modern data pipelines.
• Experience with AI-assisted or agentic tooling and AWS data stack.
• Ability to optimize platform performance for scalability and speed.
• Excellent English communication for global collaboration.

We're looking for a Lead Forward-Deployed Engineer (Data platform) to join our team in boarder Zurich area, Switzerland in a hybrid working mode. In this role, you will contribute to a large-scale international IT engagement focused on modern data platforms, security, business applications and IT operations.You will join the Data track, collaborating with Data Architects, BI Engineers and Business Analysts while working closely with an onsite delivery lead. Your focus will be on optimizing and enhancing a modern data platform built on technologies such as Snowflake, ClickHouse, dbt, Fivetran and AWS-native data services.
