The role

As a Lead Delivery Manager at Zühlke, you are responsible for the successful delivery of challenging projects at the intersection of technology, business, and client collaboration:

• You lead projects to success – from kick-off to final delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality expectations are met.
• You ensure we deliver what we promise – aligning outcomes with client goals and business value.
• You build and lead strong, multidisciplinary project teams – empowering both Zühlke colleagues and client-side teams.
• You establish trust-based relationships with clients – acting as a partner and advisor with a deep understanding of their context.
• You support bid and proposal processes – contributing your expertise in effort estimation, solution design, and planning.

What`s important to us

• Several years of experience managing complex projects in the fields of software engineering, IT solutions, and technology consulting.
• Cross-industry knowledge and confidence working in a corporate environment.
• T-shaped skillset: broad understanding of business and technology with deep expertise in selected areas.
• Strong customer orientation and a structured, solution-driven mindset for tackling complex challenges.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary project teams with diverse backgrounds.
• University degree, at least a bachelor’s – preferably a master’s.
• Project management certifications (e.g., PMI, IPMA, PRINCE2, SAFe) are a plus.
• Native-level German (C1) and very good English skills are required.
