Job summary

Power distribution technology is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer with a strong background in power electronics to lead the DC-DC converter system design for next-generation data center architectures.

You will drive specification, testing and qualification, coordinate cross-functional teams in R&D labs, and contribute to IP development and standards activities, with opportunities for travel and long-term position in Switzerland.

Qualifications

Master's degree or PhD in electrical engineering with focus on power electronics.
5+ years of experience in power electronics system design and development.
Experience with high power and medium voltage converters is an advantage.
Experience leading technical backlogs for R&D teams.
Fluent written and spoken English; German is a plus.
Availability to travel sporadically.

Responsibilities

Lead power electronics system design, specification, testing and qualification of DC-DC converter sub-systems.
Cover phases from conceptual system design integration to final validation in R&D labs.
Focus on qualification and productization in collaboration with control hardware, software, mechanical and V&V functions.
Collaborate technically with program manager, product architect, research scientist and other stakeholders.
Contribute to maintenance and further development of power electronics technology expertise, including IP and standards activities.
