Job summary

Annapurna in Zurich is seeking a hands-on Technical Lead to design and deliver modern data platforms using Snowflake. You will lead technical architecture, build scalable data solutions and help customers turn business requirements into production-ready data and AI platforms.

You will own data modelling, governance, cost optimisation and drive CI/CD and IaC. German and English required; hybrid work from Zurich with access to new technologies and enterprise projects.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of data engineering experience.
• Proven Snowflake project delivery in lead or engineering role.
• Strong SQL and Python skills with dbt and data modelling.
• Hands-on AWS or Azure with CI/CD and IaC.
• German and English language proficiency.

Responsibilities

What we're looking for

• 6+ years' experience in data engineering, ideally within consulting.
• Proven experience delivering Snowflake projects in a technical lead or key engineering role.
• Strong knowledge of Snowflake architecture, performance tuning and cost optimisation.
• Strong SQL and Python skills, plus experience with dbt and modern data modelling.
• Experience with production data integration and orchestration tools.
• Hands‑on AWS or Azure experience, including CI/CD and IaC.
• Exposure to AI/ML use cases, ideally using Snowflake Cortex.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage technical and business stakeholders.
• German and English.
