The IT Operations team is looking for a passionate Lead Cloud Platform Engineer experienced in managing AWS cloud infrastructure and security, and leading the team to top performance.
In this role, you will leverage your expertise to build and maintain IT Infrastructure and Security services in the cloud, focusing on AWS, but also including Azure and GCP. This involves implementing massively scalable services, automating system operations, measuring, and continuously improving services and deployment processes.
What You Will Do Daily :
- Be the technical lead for the company’s AWS Organizations, focusing on infrastructure, network, and security.
- Design, deploy, and manage secure, scalable, and reliable services, policies, and standards.
- Lead the extension of cloud infrastructure network, ensuring security and ZTA compliance, with traffic inspection, monitoring, and control.
- Organize the cloud engineering squad's agenda, Jira tasks, and priorities aligned with business needs.
- Serve as the AWS Identity Access Management advisor and policy lead administrator.
- Continuously enhance architecture design and implementation, considering performance, disaster recovery, and costs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders (CIO, Data team, Release engineering, etc.) to ensure solutions fit into the Sonar ecosystem.
- Own the testability of infrastructure (deploy, validate, tear-down).
- Ensure platforms operate within region and account limits to support scalability.
- Improve resilience and scalability tests in performance environments to stay ahead of growth inhibitors.
- Participate in AWS Well-Architected Reviews and resolve Trusted Advisor findings.
- Maintain evergreen documentation of solutions and reusable building blocks.
The Experience You Will Need :
- 5+ years of experience with AWS implementations and deployment automation.
- Prod-oriented AWS Cloud background, with a belief in collaborative DevOps practices.
- AWS Solutions Architect certification; experience with Azure and GCP is a big plus.
- Solid experience with cloud-native application delivery, architecture modeling, and implementation on AWS.
- Strong understanding of software development practices: quality, testing, CI/CD.
- CompTIA Network+ certification or equivalent cloud/on-prem network experience.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or AWS CDK (Python).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and operating at scale.

- Can-do attitude, challenging the status quo, leading improvements.
