Zusammenfassung

Lonza in Visp seeks a Laboratory Technician (all genders) for its analytical Quality Control laboratory. You will perform routine HPLC analyses, apply SOPs under GMP, and contribute to documenting results and work instructions.

You will maintain the lab, support equipment upkeep, and collaborate with shift teams to ensure clean, compliant operations. Fluency in English is required; German is a plus. Apprenticeship/CTA/BSc in Chemistry or Biochemistry is expected.

Qualifikationen

• Apprenticeship as laboratory technician, CTA, BSc in Chemistry /Biochemistry or similar education.
• Hands‑on experience with HPLC is highly preferred.
• Work experience in a GMP environment in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry is a plus.
• You are conscientious, structured and responsible and you are able to adjust in a flexible manner to shifting priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Fluency in English, German is an additional advantage.

Are you ready to take on the role of Laboratory Technician (all genders) in our analytical Quality Control laboratory, located in the breathtaking Visp? Join our groundbreaking laboratory that boasts brand-new technology and instruments, and collaborate with a vibrant and international team. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around conducting routine analysis of biopharmaceuticals using HPLC and capillary electrophoresis techniques. This role offers a lot of variety with many different projects and a wide variety of HPLC techniques (e.g. RP, SEC) and many different HPLC detectors (e.g. UV, fluorescence), as well as capillary electrophoresis (CE‑SDS and icIEF).
