Zusammenfassung

Lonza Group in Visp seeks a Laboratory Technician for our analytical Quality Control laboratory. You will conduct routine HPLC analyses and participate in capillary electrophoresis workflows in a GMP setting, within a dynamic, international team.

Applicants should have an apprenticeship as a laboratory technician or related education, hands-on HPLC experience, and English proficiency; German is a plus. This role offers varied projects and opportunities to grow technical expertise.

Qualifikationen

  • Experience with HPLC methods in GMP labs.
  • Education equivalent to lab technician apprenticeship or higher.
  • Good English; German an advantage.

Aufgaben

  • Perform analytical methods in line with SOPs, GMP and safety rules, focusing on HPLC analyses.
  • Adhere to quality guidelines; conduct practical lab work and document results.
  • Support laboratory maintenance and ensure a clean, organized workspace.
  • Maintain close cooperation with shift workers.

Are you ready to take on the role of Laboratory Technician (all genders) in our analytical Quality Control laboratory, located in the breathtaking Visp ? Join our groundbreaking laboratory that boasts brand-new technology and instruments, and collaborate with a vibrant and international team. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around conducting routine analysis of biopharmaceuticals using HPLC and capillary electrophoresis techniques. This role offers a lot of variety with many different projects and a wide variety of HPLC techniques (e.g. RP, SEC) and many different HPLC detectors (e.g. UV, fluorescence), as well as capillary electrophoresis (CE-SDS and icIEF).

What we’re looking for
  • Apprenticeship as laboratory technician, CTA, BSc in Chemistry /Biochemistry or similar education
  • Hands‑on experience with HPLC is highly preferred
  • Work experience in a GMP environment in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry is a plus
  • You are conscientious, structured and responsible and you are able to adjust in a flexible manner to shifting priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Fluency in English, German is an additional advantage
