In this pivotal role, you will provide expert legal advice on labor and employment issues across various jurisdictions, focusing on the Nordics and Switzerland. You will assist in creating and implementing L&E strategies, ensuring compliance with local laws, and collaborating with local lawyers. We are currently seeking a Labor & Employment (L&E) Legal Counsel (m / f / d) to work with a leading global company on their Motion business team. This role involves supporting a wide range of L&E topics across multiple jurisdictions, focusing particularly on the Nordics and Switzerland.

Responsibilities

  1. Provide expert legal advice and support on labor and employment issues in various countries, particularly in the Nordics and Switzerland.
  2. Assist in the creation and implementation of L&E strategies and processes.
  3. Analyze L&E data and support case management.
  4. Ensure compliance with local laws and support fiduciary responsibilities in Motion countries.
  5. Collaborate with local lawyers and panel firms for legal matters.
  6. Participate in significant global projects to drive cultural evolution and ensure compliance with initiatives such as ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) and DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion).

Minimum Qualifications :

  1. Minimum 5 years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE) in labor and employment law.
  2. International experience in L&E law.
  3. Fluency in English; proficiency in other European languages is a plus.
  4. Sense of urgency combined with strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work both independently and cross-functionally.
  5. Positive mentality and willingness to tackle new and ever-changing business needs.

Preferred Qualifications / Experience :

  1. Experience working in a multinational environment.
  2. Familiarity with the legal landscapes of the Motion countries.
  3. Ability to work remotely and manage responsibilities autonomously.
