Q Analysts is seeking a Lab Test Automation Engineer to join our Client's Core Technologies team in Zürich. You will operate and maintain robotic measurement and motion capture systems to capture high-quality datasets for evaluating tracking systems.

Collaborate with engineers and researchers to apply techniques for VR system evaluation, data processing, and results documentation. Strong Python and some C++ skills are valued, with Linux experience and exposure to motion capture a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Comfortable with productivity software (Word, Excel, Email).
• Familiar with executing simple scripts and data transfer on Linux devices.
• Comfortable with DMM and hand tools; basic debugging of battery-powered devices.
• Optional: familiarity with operating motion capture systems or industrial robots.
• Knowledge of computer vision or camera calibration is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Organize lab rooms and prepare equipment; set up/calibrate OptiTrack for ground-truth data collection.
• Read/write Python scripts; C++ knowledge is useful as we use C++ packages in the pipeline.
• Initialize test fixtures and motion capture systems; organize and upload datasets to file servers.
• Occasionally pack/transport/setup portable measurement systems.
• Analyze results and share insights with the requesting team; adapt tools for statistical analysis.
