The successful candidates will join the Business Excellence Chapter, supporting various functional areas within Pharmaceutical Sciences. Daily interactions will involve collaborating closely with lab-based functions such as ADME, Pathology, Immunosafety, Genetics and Genomics, and regulated bioanalytics to support lab management tasks.

Job Mission

The Lab Manager supports researchers by enabling, facilitating, and simplifying laboratory work. They address pain points within the lab community, aiming to maintain operations and allow colleagues to focus on science. This is a temporary position for 2 years.

Your Impact

You will oversee organizational processes for the laboratory environment and serve as the main contact for lab colleagues. Your responsibilities include identifying needs, providing solutions promptly, and managing daily activities.

You will organize lab space, support its efficient use, and assist with onboarding new lab members.

You will coordinate the acquisition, maintenance, repair, and disposal of equipment, updating the Scientific Equipment Database and inventory records.

You will act as a Safety Officer, ensuring compliance with SHE regulations, onboarding new staff, and supporting SHE audits and Workplace Health Risk Assessments.

You will interface with central site and global services such as Building Management, Lab Services, Procurement, SHE, Logistics, and Site Services.

You will assist with material ordering in collaboration with procurement, Central Lab Supply, and external suppliers, supporting supply chain management and cost savings initiatives.
