About the Role

We are currently recruiting a Junior System Engineer to join a leading Swiss IT service provider in Spreitenbach. In this position, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality operational support and technical services across a broad range of infrastructure technologies. You'll work in a dynamic, customer-focused environment with great development opportunities and hands-on exposure to client / server systems, virtualization, Microsoft services, and more.

This is a permanent position with hybrid work flexibility and a strong pathway for growth into more senior infrastructure or systems engineering roles.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operational service delivery for key customers in the IT infrastructure space
• Handle tickets under incident, change, and problem management frameworks
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and communication systems
• Create user documentation, installation guides, and technical support materials
• Participate in infrastructure projects and service improvement initiatives

Your Profile

• Completed IT apprenticeship or equivalent vocational training
• Experience in service desk or IT support (1+ years preferred)
• Interest or basic experience in client / server systems, virtualization, Microsoft Exchange, backup / storage
• Customer-oriented, proactive, and a strong communicator
• Eager to learn new technologies and grow in a hands-on role
• Fluent German (B2 / C1 minimum); English a strong asset (B1+)
