GXP CONSULTING Switzerland is seeking a Process and Project Engineer to support client projects during planning, construction, and start-up of units and plants in the infrastructure sector. The role focuses on leading studies, coordinating teams, and ensuring regulatory-compliant design and execution.

The ideal candidate holds a BSc/MSc in Process or Chemical Engineering with 7+ years in project engineering, and fluent German and English.

Qualifikationen

• BSc or MSc in Process or Chemical Engineering or similar.
• 7+ years of work experience in project engineering and planning/construction/start-up of plants in Chemical, Pharma or Biopharma industry, CAPEX experience a plus.
• Strong knowledge of engineering documentation (URS, FS, TS, PFDs, P&IDs, layouts).
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with different stakeholders.
• Independent working style and able to work in a multi-discipline and complex environment.
• Knowledge of EPC/EPCM models is an asset.
• Fluent in German and English.

Aufgaben

• Lead the study, detailed design, and execution phases of the projects.
• Coordinate internal teams and external engineering firms.
• Generate feasibility and conceptual studies, considering regulatory requirements and internal guidelines with project partners, and develop them until internal approval for execution.
• Support project execution until successful start-up.
• Perform calculations, generate documents and specifications, including plant design and project execution.
• Support 3D coordination, resolution of collisions, adjustments, etc.
• Commissioning and acceptance testing of systems and participation in integral tests.

We are looking for a Process and Project Engineer who will support our client's project during planning, construction and start-up of units and plants in the infrastructure sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the study, detailed design, and execution phases of the projects.
• Coordinate internal teams and external engineering firms.
• Generating feasibility and conceptual studies, considering regulatory requirements and internal guidelines together with internal and external projects partners, and to develop these until their internal approval for execution.
• Your focus will be to support the project execution until its successful start-up.
• You will perform the required calculations, generate required documents and specifications, including plant design and execution of projects.
• Support of 3D coordination, resolution of collisions, adjustments, etc.
• Commissioning and acceptance testing of the systems and participation in integral tests with internal and external partners.

Education / Experience:
