Job summary

CERN is seeking a Project Engineer for the HL-LHC in Geneva. You will join the Project Office in the ATS Sector, focusing on de-installation and installation activities for HL-LHC during LS3.

Responsibilities include daily site follow-up, schedule updates, ECR impact assessment, and coordination with HL Activity coordinators. The role requires field work, multi-stakeholder negotiation, and familiarity with MS Project and CATIA V5.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of professional experience since graduation.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree required.
• Experience in project control and scheduling is essential.

Responsibilities

• Daily follow-up of ongoing activities on worksites and track progress.
• Report to HL Activity coordinators and propose mitigation actions.
• Update installation schedules and 3D models in as-built status.
• Prepare materials for on-site meetings and support coordinators.
• Assess ECR impacts on schedule and budget.
• Validate equipment integration and ensure 3D models are current.
• Contribute to installation readiness reviews and coordination meetings.
