Zusammenfassung

Prysmian is seeking a Junior Photonic Integrated Circuit (PIC) Development Engineer to advance PIC solutions for fiber optic sensing. You will identify opportunities for photonic integration, design and simulate PIC-based systems, and support prototypes and fabrication activities in a dynamic research environment.

Ideal candidates hold a Master's degree in a related field and have a strong interest in photonics and sensing technologies.

Qualifikationen

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Photonics, Optical Engineering, or related field
Strong interest in photonics, integrated optics, and sensing technologies
Experience with numerical simulation tools is desirable
Cleanroom experience is an asset
Fluent in English; French is an asset

Aufgaben

Develop PIC solutions for fiber optic sensing applications.
Assess opportunities for photonic integration within sensing systems.
Design, simulate, and optimize PIC-based solutions for sensing.
Support prototype development and fabrication activities.
Coordinate fabrication with external foundries and suppliers.
Perform numerical simulations and support experimental validation.
Develop expertise in optics, photonics, waveguide design, and related technologies.
Build and evaluate prototypes.
