Prysmian is seeking a Junior Photonic Integrated Circuit (PIC) Development Engineer to advance PIC-based sensing solutions. You will explore opportunities for photonic integration within fiber optic sensing systems, design and simulate PIC components, and support prototype development and fabrication activities.

Recent graduates with a strong academic background are encouraged to apply. English fluency is required; French is an asset.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Photonics, Optical Engineering, or closely related field.
• Strong interest in photonics, integrated optics, and sensing technologies.
• Experience with numerical simulation tools is desirable.
• Cleanroom experience is an asset.
• Fluent in English; French is an asset.

Aufgaben

• Develop PIC-based solutions for sensing applications.
• Design, simulate, and optimize PIC-based solutions for sensing applications.
• Build and evaluate prototypes.
• Coordinate fabrication activities with external foundries and suppliers.
• Perform numerical simulations and support experimental validation.
• Advance expertise in optics, photonics, waveguide design, and related technologies.
