Job summary

Julius Baer is seeking a Junior Business Analyst to support Banking Operations in a transformation programme as a new core banking platform is implemented. You will work on securities processing, especially trade settlement and corporate actions, and help define future-state processes, validate data and prepare operations teams for the transition.

Qualifications

• Completed apprenticeship in banking and/or higher education with focus in banking.
• Experience in a business analyst or coordination role within banking operations.
• Strong interest in process analysis, digital transformation and change enablement.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, document and structure business requirements in cooperation with Operations stakeholders.
• Analyse and map current and future-state processes within securities processing, with emphasis on trade settlement and corporate actions.
• Assess operational impact of system and process changes across asset classes.
• Contribute to the design of test scenarios and support end-to-end testing activities.
• Extract, validate and interpret data to support solution design and decision-making.
• Prepare procedural documentation, user guides and training materials for Operations teams.
• Support data quality initiatives and coordinate clean-up activities ahead of migration.
