Sahara Group in Geneva is seeking a Junior Back Office Analyst to join the Risk, Middle Office & Back Office Team. You will reconcile paper derivatives and physical contracts, support automation, and help improve data accuracy across trading activities.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Finance or related field, are fluent in English, and proficient with Excel; VBA/SQL or Python is a plus. This permanent role offers growth in an international energy trading environment.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Science, Technology or Mathematics from an accredited college or university.
• Entry level role – max 18 months’ experience (including internships).
• Fluent in both written and spoken English; proficient with MS Excel and MS Office applications.
• Experience with VBA/SQL and/or Python is an advantage.

Aufgaben

• Daily reconciliation of paper derivatives with brokers, clearers, OTC counterparts and financing banks.
• Daily reconciliation of contracts for physical oil and refined products transactions between external counterpart and internal trading system.
• Processing and reconciliation of invoices to the trading system.
• Management of derivatives positions internally across various financing banks.
• Onboarding of new products, instruments, and business lines.
• Develop and improve reporting and data accuracy across the RMO function.
• Collaborate with treasury and finance to manage Initial and Variation Margin with exchanges.
