Viseca is seeking an IT Security Engineer for its Bioggio site near Lugano to join the Security Architecture & Operations team. You will evaluate architectures, define security requirements, and implement enterprise security controls across SIEM, EDR/XDR, IAM/PAM, and cloud security.

The role involves on-call duties and collaboration with infra, cloud, and development teams. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in IT security, strong security framework knowledge (CSF, Zero Trust), and fluent Italian

Competenze

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS, Information Security, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional IT security experience.
• Knowledge of CSF, Zero Trust and defence-in-depth.
• Hands-on security technologies and secure engineering practices.
• Experience in SIEM/SOC, EDR/XDR, IAM/PAM, and cloud security.
• Willing to work on-call outside business hours.
• Fluent in Italian; English preferred.

Mansioni

• Review architectures and designs for security compliance and best practices.
• Define security requirements and risk-based controls for projects.
• Engineer and optimize SIEM, EDR/XDR, IAM/PAM, and cloud security solutions.
• Develop and maintain security architecture standards and reference architectures.
• Conduct security assessments, threat modelling, and risk analyses.
• Collaborate with infra, cloud, and dev teams to integrate security.
• Support incident investigations and remediation efforts.
• Promote Secure by Design, Zero Trust, and Defence in Depth.
