Job summary

Viseca Card Services SA in Bioggio (near Lugano) seeks an experienced IT Security Engineer to join the Security Architecture & Operations team. You will review architectures, define security requirements, and engineer enterprise security tech across on-prem and cloud environments.

You will collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, network, and application teams to embed secure design, participate in on-call rotations, and promote Zero Trust and Defence-in-Depth principles across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s in CS/Information Security/Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in IT Security, Security Engineering, Network or Cloud Security.
• Familiar with NIST CSF, Zero Trust and Defence-in-Depth.
• Hands-on with enterprise security tech and secure engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Review architectures and designs for security alignment and best practices.
• Define security requirements and risk-based controls for projects.
• Engineer and optimize SIEM, EDR/XDR, IAM/PAM, vulnerability mgmt, and cloud security.
• Develop security standards, reference architectures, and guidelines.
• Conduct threat modelling and technical risk analyses.
• Collaborate with infra, operations, cloud and dev teams to embed security.
• Assist in incident investigation and security issue resolution.
