Avaloq is seeking a passionate Cloud Security Architect to join its Cloud Architecture team in Switzerland. The role blends cloud architecture with security engineering, automation, and DevSecOps to design and secure next-generation cloud platforms and services.

You will design secure cloud architectures, embed security-by-design, and drive Zero Trust and defense-in-depth strategies, while guiding teams on security controls and compliance across CI/CD and IaC pipelines.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience as an IT Security Architect or Cloud Security Architect.
• Experience designing and governing enterprise cloud architectures in Cloud Infrastructure (OCI preferred).

Aufgaben

• Design, govern, and evolve secure cloud architectures for SaaS, PaaS, and internal platforms.
• Define and maintain cloud security standards, reference architectures, and blueprints.
• Embed security-by-design into landing zones, tenancy structures, and network segmentation.
• Drive Zero Trust, least-privilege, and defense-in-depth across cloud environments.
• Integrate security controls and compliance into CI/CD, IaC, and automation frameworks.
• Lead or support security assessments, threat modeling, and architecture reviews.
• Provide guidance for network security and connectivity across environments.
• Collaborate with Network Architecture to define enterprise standards and secure connectivity.
