Job summary

Pictet Tech designs, integrates and operates a wide range of software applications for banking and corporate solutions. As a Security Software Engineer in the Infrastructure Security team, you will shape automation, champion IaC and deliver secure infrastructure for internal partners across the group.

You will design, develop and enhance our security landscape, contribute to cloud integrations in data-centre environments and support 24/7 operations to maintain resilient systems.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering skills with production-grade code in Python or Go.
• Hands-on experience in securing infrastructure: firewalls, proxies, identity providers and VPNs.
• Strong interest in automation, infrastructure-as-code and CI technologies.
• Curious mindset and willingness to learn new technologies.
• Fluency in French and English; resident in Switzerland or willing to relocate.

The Infrastructure Security team serves as the first line of defence in protecting Pictet’s infrastructure and ensuring secure, resilient communications.

As a Security Software Engineer within the team, you will shape the future of automation across our security platforms, helping to deliver best-in-class protection, stability and ease of implementation for our internal partners throughout the Group.

Your role

• Drive automation across our security platforms and champion infrastructure-as-code practices within the Infrastructure Security team and among internal partners.


• Promote software craftsmanship practices within the team.


• Design, develop and continuously enhance our security infrastructure landscape.


• Contribute to the architecture and delivery of secure cloud integrations for our data-centre environments.


• Support daily operations and contribute to the team’s 24/7 on-call service.

Your profile

• Strong software engineering skills: you write production-grade code in Python, Go or an equivalent language and have the discipline required to turn automation into a maintainable self-service platform.


• Hands-on experience in managing security infrastructure, including firewalls, proxies, identity providers and VPN solutions.


• A strong interest in automation, infrastructure-as-code and continuous integration technologies and tools.


• A curious mindset and a strong willingness to learn new technologies and develop new skills.
