Hitachi ABB Power Grids in Switzerland offers a 12‑month IT Onsite Support internship. You will support daily IT operations, ensure devices function reliably, and learn troubleshooting in a hands‑on environment.

You will work with end users, assist with device prep, asset handling, and on‑site projects like office setups and meeting room infrastructure, with mentorship from experienced colleagues.

Qualifikationen

• Pursuing a university or technical school program in IT, computer science, engineering, or related field.
• Able to follow established procedures and communicate effectively in English and German.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware and operating systems.
• Eager to learn and develop hands-on technical skills.
• Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.

Aufgaben

• Assist in troubleshooting basic IT issues and prepare laptops and devices for onboarding.
• Support end users in navigating self‑service tools and IT procedures.
• Assist with stock handling, asset pickup/return, and onboarding/offboarding device prep.
• Support warranty processes by gathering information and preparing devices.
• Maintain IT equipment in meeting rooms and shared spaces and report issues.
• Update documentation related to device preparation and OSS procedures.
• Contribute to special projects like office relocations and meeting room setup.
• Participate in on-site projects affecting office layout and infrastructure.
