Pomeroy in Switzerland is seeking a motivated IT professional to provide onsite Level 2 support and escalation for enterprise manufacturing and R&D systems. You will work with IT Business Partners and Global IT to ensure systems are secure, efficient, and aligned with Industry 4.0 standards.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems (or equivalent) and at least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in manufacturing or R&D IT environments.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in manufacturing or R&D IT environments is an advantage.
• Industry 4.0 or Microsoft certifications are a plus.

Aufgaben

• Provide Level 2 onsite support for manufacturing and R&D systems (desktops, OS, antivirus, applications).
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring proper documentation.
• Support integration of manufacturing systems in line with Industry 4.0 standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Advanced Operations, and R&D.
• Contribute to knowledge base articles and promote shift-left initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with IT security standards (patching, antivirus, firewall).
• Participate in global IT projects and support enterprise system adoption.
• Recommend and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and cost savings.
• Support shop floor systems and machine-level integrations.
• Contribute to IT operational processes (incident, problem, change, asset management).
