Zusammenfassung

STAAR Surgical AG is seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead and support our IT infrastructure across Swiss and international users. You will ensure systems run with minimal downtime, manage staff and vendors, and drive improvements in security and compliance.

The role requires strong leadership, hands-on administration, and the ability to work outside normal hours for weekend production support. Fluent English is essential; German or French are a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 5 years in IT management with a strong infrastructure focus.
• Proficient with MS 365, Azure, networking and ERP systems (Oracle/SAP).
• Experience with warehouse and manufacturing tech such as printers, RF guns and IoT.
• Strong project management and leadership abilities are essential.
• Excellent written and spoken English; French or German preferred.
• Reliable, flexible, and customer-focused with good problem-solving skills.

Aufgaben

• Manage and support IT infrastructure, systems, services, staff and vendors for STAAR Surgical AG and users worldwide
• Ensure systems operate with minimal downtime and outages
• Perform validations for infrastructure and systems as applicable
• Stay informed on new technologies to improve security, reduce costs and enhance performance
• Provide hands-on technical support and system administration including non-business hours as needed
• Lead IT staff by setting goals, training, and fostering a safe, productive environment
• Review IT policies to ensure compliance with regulations and standards
