STAAR Surgical AG (Nidau/ Bern region) is seeking an IT Manager 100% to lead IT infrastructure, systems, services and vendors across Swiss and international users. This role combines hands-on support with strategic leadership within a growing multinational manufacturing environment.

You will manage uptime, drive security/compliance programs, and collaborate with production teams to optimize performance. Proficiency in English is required; German or French is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Completed IT degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years in IT management with focus on infrastructure.
• Experience with O365, Azure and networks.
• Familiar with ERP systems (Oracle/SAP).
• Strong leadership with strong communication.
• Willing to work outside standard hours as needed.

Aufgaben

• Manage and support IT infrastructure, systems, services, staff, and vendors across Swiss and international users.
• Ensure uptime and minimize outages.
• Perform validations for infrastructure and systems.
• Stay informed on new technologies to improve security and performance.
• Provide hands-on technical support and system administration including non-business hours.
• Lead IT staff, set goals, train, and foster growth.
• Review and update IT policies to comply with regulations.
