We’re looking for a strategic Director of IT to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the global IT function at Board, leading the development and execution of a comprehensive IT strategy that ensures scalable infrastructure, secure operations, and technology innovation aligned with our organizational goals.
You’ll serve as a trusted advisor to the Executive Leadership Team on all IT, application, and security-related matters and ensure seamless collaboration across global functions. This is a high-impact role requiring both strategic oversight and hands-on leadership across infrastructure, business systems, IT governance, compliance, and digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Infrastructure Management:
Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing optimization of Board’s internal technology infrastructure and security systems. Ensure performance, scalability, and alignment with long-term business objectives.
  • Application Ecosystem Oversight:
Oversee the management of business-critical applications, with varying degrees of involvement based on each department’s ownership and operational maturity.
  • IT Team Leadership:
Direct and develop the global IT team to foster strong collaboration, proactive support, and continuous improvement. Ensure effective resource allocation and team performance aligned with strategic initiatives.
  • Advisory to Executive Leadership:
Provide insights and guidance to the Executive Team on IT investments, risk, application roadmaps, and security matters to support business growth and operational excellence.
  • Support Go-to-Market Processes:
Partner with Sales and GTM teams to respond to security/compliance-related queries, participate in key discussions, and reassure prospects and customers about Board’s IT posture and best practices.
  • Risk & Compliance Management:
Oversee enterprise data privacy, security strategy, incident response, and cross-functional initiatives that require IT leadership and interdepartmental coordination.
  • Procurement & Budgeting:
Manage IT budgets, approve purchases and contracts related to hardware, software, and services, ensuring cost-effective and value-driven decisions.
  • Continuous Innovation:
Keep the organization at the forefront of relevant technological developments, ensuring IT evolves alongside business and industry trends.
  • Program & Project Management:
Lead enterprise-wide IT initiatives, software rollouts, and transformation projects. Coordinate internal teams and external vendors to deliver on-time, in-scope, and on-budget outcomes.
  • Security Posture Advancement:
Implement security upgrades aligned with evolving compliance standards and internal benchmarks. Ensure the organization's cybersecurity posture remains robust, resilient, and cost-effective.
  • Digital Transformation & Innovation:
Identify and evaluate opportunities for technology-driven transformation across business functions. Collaborate on business case development, stakeholder alignment, and execution planning using structured assessment frameworks.
Requirements
  • Proven experience leading global IT functions at a Director level or higher, preferably in a SaaS, software, or digital services company.
  • Deep knowledge of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, enterprise applications, and digital transformation strategies.
  • Demonstrated success in aligning IT initiatives with broader business goals and leading cross-functional implementations.
  • Experience managing IT budgets, vendor relationships, and global compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001, SOC 2).
  • Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment and drive efficiency without compromising innovation.
Our commitment to Diversity and Inclusion

Join a company that believes in the added value of diversity, inclusion, and belonging. We foster a working environment in which all people are respected and valued, for all aspects which make them unique. We hire you for who you are, and we want you to bring your true self to work every day!
