Belimo Holding AG in Switzerland seeks an Intellectual Property Expert for the Digital Ecosystem to protect and broaden the company’s IP portfolio.

You will collaborate with external patent attorneys, engineers and business stakeholders to drive IP strategy, support invention disclosures and manage patents, designs and related IP matters.

Fluent in English and German, you bring excellent communication and a precise, proactive working style to help translate complex topics for diverse stakeholders.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Engineering, Natural Sciences, or related field with IP qualification.
• Several years of IP experience within industry or consulting.
• Strong understanding of patents, designs, and IP management.
• Ability to coordinate with external patent attorneys and service providers.

Aufgaben

• Manage patent and design portfolio in line with IP strategy and budget.
• Support invention disclosures and patent applications, including prior art searches.
• Ensure FTO assessments are carried out in IP-relevant projects.
• Coordinate patent searches, competitive intelligence, and IP monitoring.
• Advise business units on patent and design matters through training, workshops, reporting, and consultation.
• Represent IP function in cross-functional meetings and technical discussions.
• Administer assigned parts of the IP portfolio and related processes.
• Contribute to broader IP topics such as licenses, NDAs, and IP strategy projects.
