The successful candidate will direct a multidisciplinary team, drive process improvements, and ensure compliance, while developing internal costing structures and performance metrics across a global patent

Qualifikationen

• Experience in patent strategy and IP risk assessment in international settings.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing change.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management at executive level.

Aufgaben

• Lead and manage the patent department as an autonomous service.
• Define and implement the department's strategic vision.
• Manage budget and ensure cost-efficiency of the self-financed model.
• Develop costing structures, billing practices, and KPIs.
• Optimize resource allocation and workload planning.
• Drive continuous improvement of processes and service quality.
• Foster partnerships with internal stakeholders and promote IP value.
• Mentor, develop, and recruit team members.
• Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and professional standards.
• Provide IP services for patents across the Group.
• Draft, file, and prosecute patent applications worldwide.
• Handle oppositions, risk assessments, and validity checks.
• Manage licences and patent enforcement.
• Report to the Extend Management Board member.
