Zusammenfassung

FELFEL Schweiz is seeking an IoT Platform Engineer to own the device runtime for our smart fridges and Gavetti controllers in Zurich. You will drive consolidation of fleet management onto a single platform and reduce edge language fragmentation to bring cloud and devices closer together.

You will collaborate with the Head of Engineering on hardware specs, vendor selection, and software contracts, while strengthening OTA updates and field reliability for a growing customer base in Switzerland and

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of experience building production systems.
• Proven track record shipping and operating a real fleet of devices in production.
• Strong knowledge of edge platform concerns (networking, VPNs, NAT, intermittent links).
• Experience with two of: C#, Go, Kotlin; willingness to standardize.

Aufgaben

• Own device runtime on fridges and Gavetti controllers end-to-end.
• Consolidate fleet management onto a single platform.
• Reduce number of languages on the edge; align cloud and device environments.
• Collaborate with Head of Engineering to spec next-gen hardware and software contracts.
• Manage vendor relationships and integrations for vendors and badge readers.
• Be the reality check on what runs in the field and ensure reliability.
