Internship – Platform Engineer – Secure Cloud‑Native Platforms for Financial Services

As part of our Platform Engineering team, you will contribute to the evolution of a secure cloud‑native platform that empowers engineering teams across the organization. Working in a highly regulated financial environment, you will help design and implement self‑service capabilities, infrastructure automation, Kubernetes‑based platform services, and observability integrations, while gaining hands‑on experience with modern technologies such as OpenShift, Terraform, Go, Python, and Crossplane. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work on enterprise‑scale platform engineering challenges that improve developer experience, operational efficiency, and security.

YOUR ROLE

• Design and implement automation solutions that improve developer experience.
• Develop and enhance platform integrations, and self‑service workflows.
• Build infrastructure automation using Ansible, Terraform, Go, Python and more.
• Contribute to self‑service platform capabilities based on Kubernetes and cloud‑native technologies.
• Help define and implement reusable templates and "golden paths".
• Integrate platform services with observability solutions to improve monitoring and operational visibility.
• Contribute to secure platform services including certificate management and infrastructure provisioning.
• Work closely with platform engineers, architects, and software dev teams.

YOUR PROFILE

• Bachelor's or Master's student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong interest in Platform Engineering, cloud‑native technologies, and infrastructure automation.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and modern software development practices.
• Knowledge of at least one programming language such as Go, Python, or Java.
• Curiosity, analytical thinking, and a hands‑on problem‑solving mindset.
• Residence in Switzerland or willingness to relocate.
