Lonza Visp is seeking an Intern (m/f/d) in QC Bioanalytics to gain hands-on experience in a GMP-regulated laboratory. This fully site-based role supports quality control operations and close collaboration within a dynamic team.

The internship offers exposure to ELISA and qPCR analyses, method validation and transfer, plus documentation and upkeep of laboratory standards. Fluency in German or English is required, with training available in a supportive environment.

The actual location of this job is in Visp, Switzerland.

We are looking for an Intern (m/f/d) in QC Bioanalytics. The QC Bioanalytics department at Lonza Visp is responsible for a broad range of biochemical analyses. To support our growing team, we are seeking a motivated intern (m/f/d) who is eager to gain hands‑on experience in a GMP-regulated laboratory environment and contribute to our quality control operations.

This is a fully site-based role. Working together in person supports close, real‑time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards.

What you'll do:

• Carrying out routine analysis with a focus on ELISA and qPCR, in compliance with GMP and safety guidelines


• Method implementation, validation and method transfer


• Administrative activities, such as documenting the results and creating work instructions


• Support laboratory maintenance (responsibility for equipment) and ensure that the laboratory is clean and tidy

What we are looking for:

• Completed vocational training as a Biology Laboratory Technician (m/f/d), a Bachelor's degree in Biology, or an equivalent qualification


• Experience working in a GMP-regulated environment is considered an asset


• First experience with ELISA and qPCR is advantageous


• Experience working in a GMP-regulated environment is considered an asset


• You are independent, responsible and have a very precise way of working. You have good communication and teamwork skills and enjoy interdisciplinary collaboration


• You enjoy being part of a young, dynamic team, are committed and have initiative


• Fluent in either German or English (language skills in the respective other language is a plus)
