Job summary

IATA is offering a 6-month internship in Geneva focused on data analytics, dashboard development, and FP&A reporting. You will consolidate data from multiple sources, prepare monthly, forecast and budget packs, and support automated reporting solutions.

The role suits a recent graduate in Business, Finance, or Economics with strong Excel, PowerPoint and data tools skills. You will work within IATA Corporate Services to deliver data-driven insights, support project governance and drive

Qualifications

• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills for data modelling and presentations.
• Experience with data analytics, dashboard development, and automation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Power Automate, SQL or Python.
• Strong interest in data visualization, process automation, and transforming complex datasets into actionable management insights.

Responsibilities

• Data Analytics and Dashboard Development: develop Power BI dashboards, reports and visuals for governance and decision-making.
• Data Preparation and Validation: prepare, update and maintain FP&A packs across reporting entities; ensure data integrity.
• Reporting Design and Enhancement: enhance FP&A reports and dashboards for usability and analytical value.
• Planning and Reporting Template production and maintenance: develop and maintain standardized Excel templates for recurring reporting cycles.
• Ad-hoc contributions to Projects and Business Partner Support: support FP&A partners and initiatives as needed.

What your day would be like

Data Analytics and Dashboard Development
Develop Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations that support project governance and strategic decision-making.
Consolidate and analyze data from multiple sources to deliver actionableinsights on project portfolio performance.
Support the implementation of automated reporting solutions andself-service Power BI capabilities for stakeholders.
Data Preparationand Validation
Prepare, update, and maintain monthly, forecast, and budget FP&A reportpacks across IATA Settlement Services, P&S, and Divisional reporting.
Perform data validation and transformation to ensure integrity, completeness,and accuracy across all datasets and reporting outputs.

Reporting Designand Enhancement
Support the development, updates and continuous improvement of FP&A reportsand dashboards to enhance usability and analytical value.
Enhance existing reporting processes to improve efficiency, reduce manual work,and increase data reliability.

Planning andReporting Template production and maintenance
Develop and maintain standardized Excel templates used for recurring reportingcycles and financial submissions.
Ensure templates are user‑friendly, consistent, and aligned with FP&A reporting standards.

Ad-­hocContribution to Projects and Business Partner Support
Contribute to projects, financial analyses, and process‑improvement initiativesas needed.
Support FP&A business partners on analysis and reporting.
Provide support to the FP&A team on emerging priorities.

We would love to hear from you if

- Recent graduate in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field(within 12 months of graduation)
- Prior experience in Finance, Auditing, or Financial analysis isdesirable.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills for data modelling and presentations.
- Experience with data analytics, dashboard development, and automation tools(e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Power Automate, SQL, or Python) is highly desirable.
- Strong interest in data visualization, process automation, andtransforming complex datasets into actionable management insights.
