IATA Consulting in Geneva is seeking a proactive Events & Operations Coordinator to support the SLICE team. You will coordinate conferences, manage trackers, support procurement, and help with governance and reporting.

You will report to Manager Airport Operations, Performance and Analytics and you will work closely with Slots, Aeronautical Charges, Airport Development & Customer Experience and Facilitation in the SLICE department, other IATA support departments such as procurement, legal, finance and externally, with vendors and event partners.
You will ensure effective coordination and delivery of events and division-wide activities, maintain accurate, consistent, and structured trackers and operational data, support efficient procurement and compliance processes, enable clear communication and documentation across SLICE, improve coordination, visibility, and governance across teams and support the progressive integration of data and reporting into operations.
Specifically, you will focus on:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, operations, communicationsor a related field.
2–5 years of relevant experience in coordination/ administrative role, operations, Event management and logistics, procurement or process-oriented environments
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, experience with SAP or similar ERP and SharePoint are essential.
Experience managing structured trackers or datasets and knowledge of Power BI will be an advantage.
An understanding of procurement processes / governance frameworks and exposure to aviation, infrastructure, or global events in an international environment will be an advantage.
Strong organizational and coordination skills with a structured, process-oriented mindset.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with high attention to detail and accuracy.
Proactive, solution-driven approach with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
