Job summary

Avaloq, a Switzerland-based wealth-tech leader, seeks a Software Engineer for the Integration team in the Platform Solution CH/FL domain, focusing on data integration using the Avaloq Core Platform (ACP). You will design and maintain ACP-based integration workflows, APIs for data exchange, and data mappings.

Collaborate with analysts and developers to deliver scalable solutions, while ensuring robust error handling, monitoring, and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on integration of third party apps.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, Javascript, PL/SQL, Shell Scripting and/or C#.
• Databases PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, Oracle DB, Firebase
• Networks & Protocols TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, WebSockets, DNS, SSH, FTP, TLS/SSL, Load Balancing, CDN, OAuth, SAML,JWT
• Applications & Tools: Docker, Kubernetes, Git/GitHub/GitLab, Jenkins, Ansible, CI/CD Tools, Jira, Confluence, VSCode, IntelliJ IDEA, Postman, Jmeter, SonarQube, Spring Framework

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain integration workflows using ACP to connect internal systems and external services.
• Develop and support interfaces and APIs for real-time and batch data exchange, ensuring data consistency and integrity.
• Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and technical teams to understand integration requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
• Ensure robust error handling, monitoring, and logging for all integration processes to support operational excellence.
• Optimize integration solutions for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Document integration designs, data mappings, and technical specifications in line with best practices and compliance standards.
