Job summary

coni + partner ag, a Zurich-based consultancy, is seeking an IT specialist (m/f/d) for the fund business. The role focuses on engineer systems integration and Avaloq, with emphasis on real-time data exchange and automated deployment.

You will collaborate across IT, engineering and service teams to optimise Avaloq platforms and private banking processes. Strong CI/CD and Kafka expertise, plus a degree in CS/Engineering, are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or Engineering.
• Avaloq certification is advantageous.
• Understanding of private banking and its processes.
• Knowledge of Avaloq Core Banking, its modules and their integration.
• Knowledge of Avaloq Container Platform Reference (ACPR) and Avaloq Business Event Grid (BEG).
• Proficient in OpenShift, OpenAPI, Apache Kafka and .NET.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for business engineering within Avaloq systems and collaborating with line management to understand business process requirements.
• Develop sustainable, automated integration solutions for real-time data transfer to third-party systems.
• Ensure successful implementation of changes across all environments and for end-of-period processing.
• Continuously improve deployment, build, and release processes.
• Test optimisations and ensure quality of end-to-end solutions.
• Collaborate on integration projects involving continuous, real-time data exchange using Kafka.
• Work with CI/CD methods and standardise technical processes.
• Analyze malfunctions and develop sustainable improvements.
• Collaborate with IT specialists, software engineers, test engineers, service managers, and infrastructure teams.
• Keep systems updated and shape the future banking platform.

Engineer Systems Integration / Avaloq

Your Tasks:

• Responsible for business engineering within the Avaloq systems, working in collaboration with line management to understand business process requirements and, based on these, identify scalable, innovative solutions for the systems
• Development of sustainable, automated integration solutions that support event-driven, real-time data transfer to third-party systems
• Ensure the successful implementation of changes across all environments and for end-of-period processing
• Continuous improvement of automated deployment, build, and release processes
• Testing of optimisations and ensuring the quality of the end-to-end solution
• Collaboration on integration projects involving continuous, real-time, bi-directional data exchange between client and server, using Kafka to scalably capture, process, store and forward large volumes of real-time data streams
• Work with modern CI/CD methods and drive the standardization of technical processes
• Analyze technical malfunctions or incidents and develop sustainable improvement measures
• Collaboration with IT specialists, software engineers, test engineers, service managers, and infrastructure teams
• Ensuring the continuous updating of the systems and shaping the future of the banking platform

Your Profile:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or Engineering
• An Avaloq certification an advantage
• Understanding of private banking and its processes
• Knowledge of Avaloq Core Banking, its modules and their integration
• Knowledge of Avaloq Container Platform Reference (ACPR) and Avaloq Business Event Grid (BEG)
• Proficient in OpenShift, OpenAPI, Apache Kafka and .NET
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail
